Cockroaches are one of the most resilient and among the most common household pests. When dealing with cockroaches, it’s important to know exactly what you’re getting into.
How To You Know If You Have Cockroaches
- Seeing live or dead roaches is the clearest evidence.
- Since cockroaches are nocturnal insects, seeing roaches during the day can signal an infestation.
- Cockroach feces can sometimes be visible. Roach poop can resemble coffee grounds or black pepper, other times they are cylindrical droppings.
- Look in dark, moist places such as behind refrigerators, under sinks and stoves. Cockroaches may also be found hiding beneath rubber mats, behind wallpaper and within wall cracks.
- Cockroaches will often be attracted to food or trash that has been left out.

Treatment Options
Standard Cockroach Service
Standard service includes a full residual treatment of all infested areas. This includes treating all cracks and crevices as well as any cupboards, drawers and cabinets. The product we use will last upward of 40 days and will continue to affect the cockroach population for the duration of that period. You can expect to see results within 1-3 days, and will most likely be finding dead cockroaches. This is a sign that the treatment was successful.
Pricing
Pricing for standard cockroach control for most homes is $225. If you have a larger than average home or you are a place of business our pricing may vary. Just give us a call or get a quote online to get pricing for your specific issue.
Preparation
Preparation for standard cockroach control mainly consists of vacating all cupboards, drawers and tight areas in the infested rooms. Our full preparation guide explains these guidelines in greater detail.
Cockroach Baiting
Baiting is an effective method of treatment, however it takes more time to see results with your infestation. It is common for it to take 2-3 weeks before you start seeing a significant increase in control. When baiting, we apply a gel-like substance between the upper corners of cabinets and other areas where roaches are common. Baiting takes place over the course of 3 months with 1 service per month to reapply bait and ensure that the treatment is working. There are three major benefits to baiting over a standard treatment:
- You will not have the issue of cockroaches being pushed out of their places of harborage, making baiting a good option for places of business where it can be catastrophic for guests to spot the intruders
- Occupants will not have to vacate the area at all. A huge perk for businesses, those who work at home or anyone with health concerns.
- Minimal to no preparation is required, contrary to the extensive preparation for a standard treatment.
Pricing
Pricing for cockroach baiting for most homes and businesses is $225 per service, though there can be extra charges based on the number of times needed to reapply bait. If you have a larger than average home or you are a place of business our pricing may vary. Just give us a call or get a quote online to get pricing specific to your situation.
Customer Responsibility
Due to the nature of cockroaches, it is important that the customer does their part to ensure that the technician can treat as thoroughly and efficiently as possible. Please be sure to examine the contents of the Residential Inside Clean-out document. Let's get these roaches out of your lives.
