How do I know if I have Bed Bugs?
Bed bugs are a much more problematic pest than most. That is why it's important to know for certain that you have bed bugs before moving forward with a treatment. Here are some things to look out for:
Are there spots of blood on your bedding?
Check the seams of the mattress, behind the headboard, wood frame of the bed and around any crevices near the suspected area.
Check for small black flakes along the seams of the mattress.
Check for bites. Bites exclusively on the legs could indicate fleas, not bed bugs.
Bites tend to to look like a rash with small raised areas where the bite originated.
You may find evidence in the form of fecal areas, live and hatched eggs, and live bed bugs.
