Expert Pest Control has been within the Salzarulo family for 3 generations, and that’s not changing anytime soon. First was “Grandpa Jack” that passed the torch to Marc and Dail. Now they are passing the torch down to their sons, Tim and Jake. Change in management can be a scary thing, usually accompanied by huge changes that make consumers uncomfortable. Tim and Jake’s goal in taking up the mantle of Expert Pest Control’s management is to move the company forward while still maintaining the same quality and customer service of a family business.

Marc and Dail

Marc and Dail are the faces that most long time Expert Pest Control customers will recognize. The long time owners of Expert have moved into a more hands-off position as board members, trusting Tim and Jake to move Expert Pest forward. The owners have the utmost confidence in this next generation and are excited to see the legacy continued. They have now moved into retirement starting a nonprofit harvestexpeditions.org to help build schools and orphanages around the world.

Tim

Tim is the oldest of the three brothers and the new general manager of Expert Pest Control. Tim has been involved with Expert both in the office and in the field since his early teens, learning the ins and outs of the pest control industry. Tim spent years as a full time field technician before leaving the industry to pursue ministry as a youth pastor. Now married and with 3 beautiful kids, Tim is ready to step into a new position of leadership in the family business. Now with 10+ years of pest control experience, Tim hopes to continue the family legacy with his brother Jake in tow.

Jake

After 5 years working supply chain management, Jake accepted a position to be Tim’s right hand man as Expert Pest Control’s office manager. With Jake’s experience, he hopes to simplify and enhance Expert’s systems in a way that passes quality and customer service to the consumer. Jake spends his free time playing music and learning computer programming.

As businesses grow and change, they often move to cut costs and raise prices, quantity over quality. That is the opposite of what Expert is hoping to move into with the coming years and hopefully decades of pest control. We hope to maintain that small business edge which values customer service and quality over cheap tricks and long-term contracts.
