Fleas are among the more tedious pests. No matter how many you swat away, they seem to just keep coming. It can feel like there are millions of them.

How Do I Know If I Have Fleas?

It's important to know exactly what sort of infestation you're dealing with when it comes to pests, especially fleas. Many people mistake Fleas for Bed Bugs and vice versa. Here's what to keep an eye out for:

  • Bites are normally the first sign of fleas. These look like small red bumps concentrated around ankles and legs.
  • Check your pets. Check thoroughly in areas where the pet is unable to reach very well, such as around the ears and under the upper part of the legs. Look for flea droppings, these are black specks on the skin and fur.
  • Walk across your carpets and around your home in white socks. Fleas love to hitch a ride. When you walk in white socks, you will see the black or brown fleas against your white socks when they jump on.

Treatment Options

We treat the inside and outside of the property with a liquid product that is applied to the carpeting, flooring, and other possible areas where adult fleas will be harboring. We also apply a growth regulator product that is designed to give more long term control. It inhibits the development and reproduction of larval fleas. This material is mixed in with the water based Adulticide that is applied to the flooring. Please keep in mind full control will take around 5-7 days and there may be a "re-hatch" of nonbiting growth interrupted fleas, this is a completely normal part of the service.

Flea treatments are typically coupled with a 30 day guarantee.

Price Options

For most homes a standard flea control treatment is $225. If you have a larger than average home or there are other specific needs or circumstances, then pricing may vary. Just give us a call or get a quote online to get pricing for your specific issues.
